Manifesting Your Higher Self

We all have this spark inside of us. It’s a part of our spirit, our aura.
The spark is that tiny feeling you get sometimes when life simply feels magical. It can be something as small as enjoying nice weather on a beautiful day, or being with your family, or even driving down a road that strikes nostalgia within you.
The spark could be a moment at work when you catch yourself day-dreaming, imagining life being totally different. That excitement you feel, and how perfect this paradise in your mind feels — that’s the spark.
Most of us are living lives that are conditioned to not follow the spark. We’ve been taught to completely ignore it, in fact.
Our society needs people to fill certain roles in order to further productivity and economic growth. It all makes logical sense.
However, that doesn’t mean it should stop you from finding your joy, and from following your spark. If you don’t, you may find yourself feeling immeasurable regret when it’s all said and done.
It’s definitely easy to get sucked into the endless cycle of societal expectations. So much so, that we go on ‘autopilot’. Have you ever noticed yourself completely checking out, wondering how you made it home without having been fully aware of what you were doing?
That’s because your body has become so programmed to complete the same exact movements and routines every single day, that your brain sometimes let the program simply run automatically. It doesn’t even need an operator anymore.
This is true on a large scale as well — go to school, get your degree, get a job that pays well so you can buy a house, have a relationship, maybe get married and have a few kids. That’s what society expects and accepts. And that’s great if it’s what your soul truly wants. But, is it?
It’s safe because it’s what everyone else is doing. It’s not risky or frowned upon. It triggers something within us to feel gratified, accepted, and appeases our definition of “success,” or at least stability. We naturally crave acceptance from those around us.
This is why most of us can’t figure out how wealthy or very successful people made it to where they are. They took “thinking outside the box” seriously. They did what no one else would do, and probably had to fight against the expectations of their environments, doubts and lack of support from friends and family, and every other obstacle you can imagine.
They disassociate themselves from normal people, because they are different. They had to literally change their realities in order to reach the one where they were successful and embodying the higher version of themselves.
Dr. Joe Dispenza wrote a book called “Becoming Supernatural” that goes into all of this on very deep levels (but is written to where it’s easy to understand), and he’s created some great meditations, as well.
How did they do it? How can you? How can we all manifest our alternate, higher realities to become connected and in-sync with our own. How do we merge them?
You’ll find endless information on manifestation. There are books, meditations, and even music specifically designed to trigger our brains to raise our vibration, helping us to reject negative thoughts.
How does this tie in with manifestation? Well, the three angles of manifesting something are: thoughts, words, and actions. You have to think you are already in your desired reality, speak as if you are, and take actions toward realizing that reality.
Negative thoughts and words will kill manifestation immediately. Simply wanting different for yourself, but taking no action reflecting that desire will have the same effect. Instead, your reality will be negative. And you’ll find that the negativity has become a cycle around your life. You may become depressed, and that’s because your spark has been dimmed substantially.
These people who have made their dreams come true did something different than most of us. They followed that spark within them. It was a voice whispering, maybe even yelling out to them that they were destined for so much more. It called them to do things differently, to reach higher.
We all have the spark, and it doesn’t matter how far the journey that yours in particular leads you. It is attainable.
It doesn’t have to be anything huge, like a famous movie star or best-selling author. It could simply be a change in fields with your job. It could be a change in environments and cultures — maybe your soul belongs in another physical place in the world. Or maybe you want to attract a different kind of relationship.
It could be that your spark ignites when you’re creating things, or when you’re helping people.
It’s de ja vu — a peek into the life you’re supposed to be living. A glimpse into what that alternate reality feels like, a tiny reminder of how amazing your existence can be.
Whatever it is, dare to follow it. Introduce yourself to, and become closer to your higher self. They exist in a reality where you are living a life you’re in love with. A life where you’re doing exactly what fulfills you, a life where you thrive. That tiny little feeling you get would become your permanent mood in that life.
And becoming this alternate version of yourself is what will allow the vibrations to connect to that higher reality. You’ve heard it many times — you attract who you are, and you are who you spend most of your time with. Your reality will literally start to reflect the energy you are putting out, based on your thoughts, words, and actions.
This, fellow spark-seekers, is manifestation, and self-actualization all at once.
It’s a lot to wrap the brain around, I know. But if you truly want to change your life in any way, this is a practice you have to build for yourself.
It won’t be easy, but guess what? The universe is on your side! It wants you to become who you’re meant to be and is constantly throwing out signs, feelings, and ‘sparks’ for that very purpose. It’s guiding you to make a change.
So take the steps, but enjoy every present moment. That’s how it all starts.
Happy manifesting!
